Notes for Anyone is a project started in 2010 by Michael Pecirno as a poster campaign. On the first run, thirty notes were spread through Chicago’s Ukranian Village/Wicker Park/Bucktown neighborhoods. Later runs brought several hundred additional posters to the city of Chicago with varying sizes, messages, and locations.
In late 2011, Notes for Anyone, took part in The Billboard Art Project, appearing as a digital billboard in numerous states and cities across America. Following that it was selected to exhibit with the American Pavilion at the Venice Biennale's travelling show Spontaneous Interventions.
Ten different notes were on display in Chicago, IL, Baton Rouge, LA, and San Bernadino,CA touring with the Billboard Art Project.
